What info is out there on the movie

 

Some information about the movie by Delinger:-

Acnologia's backstory was revealed in the movie

400 years ago, in what will later become Crocus, Acnologia met with a little girl, Sonya. However, that girl started being attacked by dragons (which included Zirconis). Acnologia, unwilling to let her die, decided to rebel against the dragons and caused the legendary massacre at Crocus. This is supposedly the reason behind his motivations and why he believes dragons shouldn't exist

) There was barely anything regarding acnologia's backstory.My opinion of a backstory is something in depth and detailed, not some flashback.
2) Animus specifically said, "I know what you are.. the one who destroys everything, END" so I assume that the transformation Natsu had was indeed his demon form.
3) The story takes place after the time skip and before the Alvarez Arc, which still gives me hope that we will see the full transformation during the Alvarez Arc.
4) Natsu did not lose his mind when he transformed, he was clearly sane and had full control over his body. After defeating Animus, he realizes he had monstrous strength that he was not familiar with and was trembling.
5) The END partial transformation was gone as soon as Animus was defeated.
6) Movie ends with Zeref saying "The battles going to start, Natsu."

 

So does that mean it takes place shortly after avatar arc then? Assumbly +.+

Acnologia got there after Sonya had been slapped by a dragon(she was half-dead at this point.).
He then says, "Sorry I couldn't save you." and then goes on to killing the remaining dragons.
From what I understood, Acnologia had no hate for humans, but his hate for dragon's was from the very beginning, extreme.
Acnologia vs. maybe 6? dragons, and he came out victorious but didn't notice that Sonya was still alive, and that Animus wasn't dead.

I guess you could say something changed Acnologia into what he is today, but that wasn't revealed in the movie.

But how could he use his demon power are you sure this is before the Alvarez arc

 

Yup.It is before Alvarez Arc.Who knows but all viewers of the movie in Japan are calling it END form.
