Bruh... These jizz-wits believe yoga and cow piss can cure cancer. And I'm not even exaggerating, just so you know. They really do.

They're still in the bronze age.

    Goodnight, earwax sculptor.

I'll be honest, I've seen my fare share of them drinking piss or eating cow shit on /gif/ as I watch on in horror and morbid fascination

I have seen it in-person. Also seen parents, out of sheer blind faith, feeding their toddlers what is essentially sewage water.

    @Gobb

By the way... The A36 turned out to be shite value for money, and it has some . . . issues. The A56 is actually very very good, but too . . . out-of-budget. Considering the A35 and A55 for now. A55 right now is going for the same price as A36 for the same RAM/storage configurations. A35 is going for 75% of the price of both.

What a shame! For 75% of the cost is it like 75% as good at least?

Yeah, it is at least that good. Easily 85 percent. In fact, the A35 is probably better value for money than the A55, especially the versions which support e-sim. Only drawbacks are UFS 2.2 versus UFS 3.1 in the A55, and lack of e-sim support in the global version (that is for some regions only). This means that I can't convert one of my sims to e-sim and shove a memory card in the hybrid slot. So I have to get the 256 GB version while stocks last.

A55 is better in terms of performance, thermals, battery life, and some other small things. But its display has worse PWM and it has weaker signal reception strengths. There is also a pervasive GPS issue which Samsung says won't be fixed for another month or two - fourteen bloody months after the device's release.

No e-sim no worries, I'm still using a physical sim. :D But yeah, it does seem like the A35 is probably the go for you.

Seems to be the best jack-of-all-trades option right now. It is good to very good at everything without being excellent in any one area, but it also does not compromise on anything; which is a major issue with most of its direct competitors, by the way - they excel at something or even in multiple areas but cut back in others.

    Goodnight, human-shaped butt-plug.

Sister-in-law is also looking for a new device. For her camera, battery, and durability (because she's more of a damn clutz than even me) are priorities. I've recommended a couple of non-Samsung models for her.

    PS:
My cousin in Melbourne got the Galaxy S24 on massive discount. It has apparently been great so far.

Hopefully she can find something good for her.

That sounds like me getting the S23 for like 800 aud from like idk 1200 aud. Good shit if you can get a massive discount. xD

There are a few good choices. But whatever you look at, they seem to have those issues with compromises. They will be masters in one or even two areas, but be disappointing in all the others. Samsung is the only one with jack-of-all trades devices within her budget, but she's looking for a non-Samsung right now.

Yeah, he also got the S24 for two-thirds its original release price. And that was without trading in his old phone (OnePlus 9) which he just gave to his mom. Her old phone just so happened to die around the time he was ordering a new one xD

I feel like you are better off forgetting about the brand even if it's one you don't want, but to each their own.

Yup, no trade in too. It's good to get a good deal!
