Battles(PvP) Section In this thread post battle threads following this rubric: Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler When posting your thread you post your name and the person your fighting as the title. The first person to post within the thread has to post their Bio link, the map they will be battling on, and also if the fight is official or unofficial, meaning if you gain XP or you don't gain XP.
How to RP Battle. When in battle and you do a move or action, you have to explain in detail exactly what you did, and where you aimed it at, and also you have to show what would happen if the attack had landed upon the target or if you dodged an attack. Also try to explain you're quirk when you first activate it for the sake of understanding, eather in the paragraph or in a separate paragraph.. Person 1: I put my hands out in a position that looks like a Kamehameha then activate my quirk, the ability to release bones through my hands, in all shapes and sizes, but using my quirk decreases the calcium within my bones in the long run, in other words minus 10 HP if I manage to use my quirk 3 times. Then I send a deadly amount out bones shooting out from my hands toward at the enemies face. If these bones hit the opponent face they will plummet him like thousands of rocks sent at 100 miles per hour, in other words blasting his face to mush. When doing a move that is as deadly as the example shown, you must have enough points to OTK a person in one hit or they must have to little HP to survive the attack. So long story short you can only pull moves like this when you're sure you have enough DP to finish their HP. Also once you've done a move you right exactly how my points you used within the moves stats. Always round up when you get a decimal number when calculating EY. Person 1: Move: Bone Kemeha! Points Total: 60 DP: 50 SP: 10 EY Left: 100 - 13 = 87 Range: Mid Now when countering a person's attack, you should always look at the DP to see if you can counter it, because countering attacks, using DP is much more effective because you loose less EY when doing so while when countering an attack by dodging it takes too much EY. But in a case like this, when the enemy can out match you're DP then you should fall back onto your SP. Every move you do is counted as a turn, so dodging is a turn, moving from any range is a turn, so use your turns wisely. Person 2: I see Bone Boy shoot thousands of bones from his palms and decide that countering it with my quirk wouldn't be the greatest idea so instead, I decide to dodge the attack due to its slow speed. The bones zoom pass me as I did a simple side step. Points Total: 40 DP: 0 SP: Dodge > 20 EY Left: 100 - 20 = 80 Range: N/A Battle Ranges: When doing an attack the range of the attack matters. If you're attack is a close range attack it only works in close range, and if it is a mid or far range attack in works in those ranges. When dodging an attack the attack range doesn't matter because you're dodging not attacking. See quirk thread for information on the advantages you would get from your quirk, during battle.
Battle Styles: There are many ways to battle a person, each individual way depends on your quirk and your way of fighting. You can take the DP way, the way I would think is going to be most common. This way would mean placing a lot of points into your DP so that the enemy won't be able to dodge or counter the attack, in close range or mid range. This battle style is a quick and easy way to win the opponent once in close range, and is perfect for DP based quirks and players. This the SP way. By placing a lot of your points into this way, you use a lot less EY in the process and grants you first damage and automatic countering. Of course the enemy will be able to dodge the attacks but the main objective of this strategy is to tire out the enemy and to keep them dodging and moving, giving you always first move. This strategy only works really well in close range. Lastly is the balanced way, or in my opinion the best way of combat. By evening how many points spent into each SP and DP you can stay between too much SP within an attack and too much DP within an attack. This method drags on battles and wastes your EY in long run. So long story short this method is the preferred battle method. Prove me wrong if method number 3 isn't the best, also if you can think of another method of battle that would be great!
