OT: Reminder that Yuuji has had sex with everyone in his harem and at least with 3 of them in the anime version. I think it was implied once that Koyomi did stuff with Hitagi.

but both yuuji and his girls are great.

Koyomi has one sole lover in Hitagi though, so he loses greatly in this aspect as a harem lead. Yuuji on the other has a legit harem end and can easily be considered the lover for all his girls.

 

but he has in shinobu a life partner, and in hachikuji a proclaimed confident and companion. Then he has an old big boobed crush and two imoutos with which he does turkish things. He's object of love for a little closet yandere and object of sex for a pervert homoflexible kouhai. And he has a corpse loli who prints her feet in his face. Hitagi is his lover but each one of the other is indispensable for koyomi just as much, each on their particular way.

And all of this... in the same timeline. Arararagi doesn't pick routes

 

Yes, Hitagi is the only one he is ROMANTICALLY in love with. He already told Hanekawa that he couldnt return her feelings and denies the other girls sexual advance, because of loyalty towards Hitagi. Yuuji on the other literally loves all his girls equally, says so at the end of the final season of the anime and even gets to live out the rest of his life with his girls on their own private island.
