Fun times ahead.

 

To all those involved, before we begin: What are you expecting? Do you think it will stand the test of time and be as enjoyable as the first time you watched it? Are you worried that it won't be as enjoyable this time around?

Figured we could get a baseline discussion going until everyone has a chance to get started.

 

I think it'll be enjoyable still.

 

I used to watch it as a kid but my memory of the entire plot is very blurry. However I very vividly remember one instance where they have to wipe the floor and since its very tedious the bald kid comes up with an idea to use his legs to wipe instead of the hands. tbh all i am watching it for is that scene.
Also the leg thing doesn't work and they start to ache

 

I feel I will still enjoy it since I remember being hyped for the finale.

 

I have a similar feeling. I know the story is great and I'll enjoy it, I'm only worried that the animation won't stand up to the test of time with having seen some of the newer stuff. I always enjoyed how the art style was very similar to Japanese animation at the same time.

 

So far it's been really good the hard part now is waiting a week for the next 10 episodes...

When I run everything I remember through in my head I sometimes forget how simple of a character Aang was. He feels like a kid who has had way to much responsibility and expectations just dumped on his shoulders.
The character development for them feels so good.
There are many details I had forgotten about so rewatching this has been a treat.

 

I just started the first episode earlier and had to run some errands so I haven't been able to finish it yet, hoping to soon though! Then the other 9 should come quickly after that. I forgot how enjoyable it was to listen to Sokka complain about everything.

 

I woke up at 4 am and watched the first four just got done with the last six, I am sure those 9 episodes will be over in a flash of fire bending. Sokka is pretty great you'd think he be annoying hearing the bases of his character but they have him be really enduring instead.

 

Oh, I remember. I'm just saying he's trying really hard to be a man in the first episode to cover the absence of his father in his sister's life.
