I don't get how it can be easier when I need to spam people to participate to get the best out of it lmfao

 

At the end of the day that's on the participants, not you. You shouldn't have to extend anything. At the end of the day if they don't participate it's their loss, not yours. Just put the dates, and stop extending to accommodate for people who clearly are not interested.

 

So what's the point in having just 3 entries...that's not worth a contest if you ask me.If it's not 5 then it's not point to make it weekly tbh

 

No use in being pessimistic about it either. If there are only three participants - great, everyone gets something. At the end of the day, it's those who don't participate that are losing out.

 

If it's just 3 I won't host the contest then...where's the fun if same people win over and over and over again...

As I said, not really your problem :/ If you're having to remind, harass and extend the deadline every week, it's more trouble then it's worth. Just let the people who want to participate without any trouble, participate.

 

I would participate but after seeing what people do when i post art here i lost the appetite as a whole.

I think you should be happy people are trying to imitate your style since that can only mean it's amazing...no?

 

When i do works i am appreciating when people try to imitate it. But when people copy everything i do, plaster it on a stock and starts winning contests with it for zero effort, that's when i get offended and loses my will of posting art as a whole. Not to mention when it is done by the same dickhead(s) who's constantly been shitting on my works with dislikes and comments of such.
