Kubo did indeed change the art style a bit for the time-skip. Masashi Kudo followed suit with the anime.

Not sure about the budget for episodes 343 to 359. But the animation for the final six or seven episodes (360 to 366) is noticeably better. This is especially so for episodes 361, 362, and 366.

Yeah, that makes sense I guess. It's weird I don't have the same feeling for TYBW even though it's different again, but feels better.

345 was good. Man, everything seems so confusing, as in, the characters are super vague and cagey about details. Uryu wound up in hospital, but his father patched him up. Orihime and Ichigo both were called and went to visit, but Uryu kind of refused to see them. Seems that they don't know the culprit, but Ryuken speculates it's someone with powers similar to Chad/Orihime, and they are likely the next targets. Keigo and Mizuiro almost had a steel beam dropped on them, but Tatsuki saved them. They refused to tell Ichigo about it for.. reasons... Ichigo offered to take Yuzu and Karin shopping and so refused bowling with Keigo and Mizuiro. When shopping he ran into Tatsuki who vaguely told him about the attack, so Ichigo ran off to find them, only to find them having been attacked and almost severely injured/killed by falling metal pipes. The attacker was the same guy Ichigo decked that stole from Kugo. After it coming across his mind again, he accepted the Xcution offer.

Kind of unrelated, but do you also feel that it looks kind of "off"? I presume at this point the anime must've had budget cuts, or they just did a style change which looks weird. I always thought this arc looked weird to the others.

Yeah lol halfway through the episode i was thinking that I was watching another anime cause of the animation style it seemed like those classic early 2010s animation
