That last page -__- if there were ever a more obvious clue that Ishida is telling u that these two are about to fulfill their cards' roles.

Those two jokers are about to pull something really shady, which could mean that the CCG doesn't know about the investigation Kaneki and Furuta are doing right now, which could mean that Kaneki never told the CCG Eto'so identity

What do you think about the possibility of Hinami getting tortured by Tokage? Is it too brutal for Ishida's taste?

Not going to happen, from what I saw Tobago is just a teacher now. Besides the time for torture is most likely while ghouls are still being held, not when they are going to be terminated

 

Hmm..but what if her termination could be postponed for the sake of "deriving" information from her? The same happened to Jason during his time in Cochlea.

I'm betting 15 Keno that she's going to get tortured.

 

She is already giving them intel and knowing that she has information they still scheduled her for termination. If her providing them intel wasn't enough to keep her from being put on the list in the first place I doubt the CCG is going to go through the effort of torture

 

There's the error, it's not about the CCG, it's about Tokage. He tortured Jason purely for his own entertainment. Nothing is going to stop Tokage from wanting to project his sadism onto poor little Hinami even if he needs to disregard standard CCG protocol. That's not an issue for a psychopath.

Again. Dude is a teacher now <_< he doesn't work at Cochlea anymore. Besides there are a few characters that have to remain the same in this series, they serve as Kaneki's refuge and a place for him to return to. If Touka or Hinami die imo that is a sign that Kaneki will most definitely die by the end of the series because there will be no where that he belongs in this world

 

I never stated that Hinami was going to die. I'm speculating that she'll get tortured, that's all. This might also serve as an opportunity for her to escape (like Jason) and return to :re or the Aogiri Tree, but I digress.

Well, if you're not convinced that he'll torture Hinami(or Mitsuki), what purpose do you predict Tokage will serve in the plot?

 

I was saying that Hinami has to remain the same kind of person she was in part one. Torture would probably break her.

Togake might play a role if the CCG need to break a character to get them to give up information later on in the story, that is about as far into the future as I can see

 

I managed to catch up and now I can't wait for the next chapter.
