    Synopsis
Fate Graphite lives miserably as a gatekeeper in a world where skills given at birth determine an individual's entire life. Afflicted by the seemingly harmful skill Gluttony, which makes him perpetually hungry, he is abused by the holy knights—the supposed protectors of the populace—who view him as a dreg of society due to his skill. However, Fate's destiny takes a dramatic turn after he kills an escaping injured thief. To his surprise, Gluttony activates, enhancing his stats and granting him new skills.

Following this epiphanic event, Fate receives a job offer from Roxy Hart, the only benevolent holy knight in the city, which he happily accepts. Eager to further explore Gluttony's true potential, he partners with a mysterious talking sword named Greed, who warns him that Gluttony is a taboo skill that breaks the logic of the world. Now forced to live a double life, Fate must slay monsters at night to satisfy his awakened appetite for souls, lest he go berserk and lose all chances at finding happiness.

Episode 1 was good. People get skills at birth which determine an individual's entire life. Fate has a seemingly useless skill Gluttony which makes him perpetually hungry. He's abused by the Vlerick family he serves under, more specifically Memil, Rafale and Hado who are all terrible to people. Fate serves as the gatekeeper in their stead, and they pay him peanuts. Roxy of the Hart family seems like the good Holy Knight in the city, and sticks up for Fate when he's being mistreated by the Vericks, who end up leaving. She urged him to come to her if he's mistreated again, but he declined.

At night while Roxy was attending to gatekeeper duty, Fate saw some people scaling the wall and invading the city. He warned her and she went to deal with them while Fate took over gatekeeper duty. One of the people that invaded ran out and Fate end up killing him, which revealed that his Gluttony skills stole the skills of the person he killed, Telepathy and Identify. Roxy asked him to work under her family, instead of the Vericks.

Fate decided to try killing monsters now that he has some extra skills, he had a very small amount of money saved up and tried to buy a sword, only to be told he could basically only get junk. When looking through the barrel, he found a sword Greed that seemingly is conscious and knows about his Gluttony skill, so they make a good team.

Memil seems intent on getting back at Roxy/Fate but Rafale warns her, as both families are of the five main families that support the kingdom. Rafale is also studying immortality.

Fate killed a bunch of goblins, getting some skills from them and parts to sell. Gluttony skill prevents him from levelling up traditionally but as mentioned can pick up extra skills. On his way back home, he saw some sketchy guy kidnapping some poor girl, so decided to intervene after hearing her cries for help with telepathy. The kidnapper plans to make the girl the play thing for the Holy Knights.

Episode 2 was good. The nuns/matrons of the orphanage were looking for Sahara, the girl that got kidnapped but had no luck. Apparently, at one point in time in the past, monsters didn't exist and neither did skills. Interesting.

Instead of sneak attacking the kidnapper, Fate comforted Sahara before taking her a bit out of the way to safety, before attacking and taking down the culprit. After some interrogation, it's revealed that Hado Vlerick ordered the kidnapping. After saving Sahara, Fate took her to enjoy some dinner before returning her to the orphanage.

Fate made his way to the Hart family estate the next morning. Unfortunately, for the first time in 1000 years, the divine dragon attacked Roxy's father's group that was out and they were all killed including her father. She's now the head of the family. The chief maid of the estate Haru isn't too impressed with how Fate behaves and scolds him a bit. xD

Fate has no choice but to continue devouring now that his Gluttony skill is active otherwise he'll either starve to death or attack indiscriminately. His eyes turn red when he's at his limit, and as a result he gets a buff to his abilities to get the most out of hunts. He took out some goblins, then some hob goblins. He then had to feed Greed which turned it into a bow that tracks and hits targets no matter how he shoots it.

Episode 3 was good. Roxy went out undercover to inspect things in town, and Fate spotter her so she asked him to join. Seems like a date. The first thing she inspected was Greed, and they arranged to have maintenance conducted. xD Next up, they went to the markets and tasted some produce, before having an interaction with Hado and they somehow weren't found out.

They looked at some stones, and Fate wanted to get one for her, but couldn't afford the one she wanted, so Roxy declined buying one. That's when they overheard about a "monster" killing goblins, which was just Fate. The Holy Knights are investigating it, so it might be trouble.

They stopped by the bar/tavern that Fate used to frequent, and they thought he died. xD Seems the owner picked up on their real identities but played it off. Some travelling warriors came by and harassed Roxy, but ended up apologetic after her identity was exposed.

They had another run with the Vlerick siblings, and helped a poor boy they were harassing. They united the boy with his mother after much searching. Fate ended up getting a "mystery" stone for Roxy as a gift, but used his skill to pick the right one. He also got some magic mask thing to help conceal his identity when out.

Episode 4 was good. Adventurers refer to Fate as the Corpse. I guess makes sense if he's mistaken for a Licht. Roxy had Fate accompany her back to her family's vineyard and house where her mother resides, who's ill. Her mother teased her a little bit in regards to Roxy potentially having feelings for Fate. They were back for Roxy to introduce Fate to everyone, and help with harvesting grapes, but also to slay monsters in the area. Kobolds are known to steal the produce.

I am assuming the mysterious girl a Galian Fate encountered from a long destroyed nation Galia probably has a skill like Gluttony/Greed, etc. Seems like they will fight in the future, given the comment about Fate "not being ready yet".

The more Fate just "feeds" off of one monster, the more it no longer satisfies his ability, so him slaying Kobolds was a blessing in disguise. Along the way, they also encountered another more dangerous monster a crowned beast, The Bringer of Lamentation at level 50. After spotting it, they backed off to regroup. Roxy was intending to fight it at dawn, so Fate beat her to the punch and went for it directly himself at night, and came out on top.

Roxy's mother asked for Fate to stick by Roxy and support her, especially considering she's ill and doesn't have much time left. Fate agreed to think it over. Turns out that Roxy's mother was also a commoner. When Roxy and Fate returned, the Holy Knights were preparing to hunt the Corpse headed by Hado. At the end, Fate in disguise as the Corpse is confronted by Hado and some men. Fate will also likely need to hunt more other monsters, as the Goblins around this area just don't cut it much anymore.

Episode 5 was good. I didn't expect things to go this way at all, am pleasantly surprised. Fate confronted and fought off warriors before revealing himself to Hado. Then, in a surprising turn, he actually went against him with the intent to kill and take revenge. He used an attack which severed all of Hado's limbs before finally killing him, gaining him the holy sword skill. He also levelled Greed up to the second level, gaining access to the scythe form.

Roxy set off to replace her father and try and slay the dragon. She left Fate behind, and Fate in turn ended up departing to follow after her at a later point. He only cares about protecting her.

Fate arrived at Tetra which was the old village he grew up in. He was often bullied by the kids, and when his father died, the village elder kicked him out. How awful. A pending monster attack was incoming and Set, one of the kids who used to bully him, and son of the village elder, was begging warriors to help, but they refused. Fate put the warriors in their place due to how they were acting, and in the end, accepted Set's pleading to help the village against the monsters.

Set arrived to tell his father of getting Fate's help, but he refused the help and even suggested using Fate as bait to feed the monsters. Set seems to have turned over a new leaf since the birth of his daughter, and with his wife killed in a monster attack. He accommodated Fate. When Set was fetching some food they had for Fate, his daughter gave Fate a lolly which was given to her by the village elder. This was drugged and made Fate fall unconscious. I wonder if it was intended for Fate, or if the real plan was to use Set's daughter as monster bait/food. either way, terrible. The fight against the horde of gargoyles will commence next episode.

Episode 6 was good. Set created some medicine and was able to help Fate wake up. Unfortunately, the village was basically destroyed at that point with a lot dead. Fate made short work of the gargoyles along with the leader which was much stronger. Set asked Fate to punch him to make up for his passed actions, so things have been settled between them. Seems a bit stupid that Fate didn't point Set to Roxy's family for work, considering he was leaving the village for work for his daughter.

Fate set off as a guard while hitching a ride the next day. Some bandits came out and he was going to deal with them, but the Myne dealt with this. The Sin power she has in Wrath and her weapon is Sloth which can change weight. Seems that Greed has kept a little information from fate, but overly not important. The skills of deadly sin are as expected, Gluttony, Wrath, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Envy and Pride being the skills born by defying the skills of the divine.

They arrived at the village ahead of Roxy's group. There, the leader is a holy knight Rudolph Lanchester that seems to be controlling everyone, at least he's marked everyone. He also is ruthless and seems to kill people if things don't go perfectly. Fate ends up trying to maintain a half starved state to better deal with Gluttony trying to control him. He takes out some sand beast before defeating the sand golem, netting himself and Myne a huge amount of money. Rudolph tries to recruit them, then belittles Myne so she clubs him with her weapon before they run off. xD

Episode 7 was good. So Myne has to constantly eat food due to Rage constantly burning through her energy. They soon arrived at small village, where they encountered an older male holy knight, Aaron, who seems like a good person and who is also the leader of the village. Aaron requested a spar, and used identify seeing Fate's total stats being over 2,000,000 yet being level 1. After the spar, he agreed to let them stay there, but in turn requested to train Fate for the duration of their visit.

Fate saw a picture of Aaron's family, including his Son Luke and wife Diana. Luke looks very much like Fate, just with a different hair colour, leading to it being the reason why Aaron wanted to train him, and accommodated them. A Licht is in the castle, and his wife and son are in the castle stuck with it.

Fate and Aaron went to the castle together, with Myne watching the village. There, the Licht used magic to control the dead bodies of his family and others in an attack. Aaron was able to overcome his grief and put his son and wife to rest, while Fate took out the Licht.

Aaron caught on a bit to Fate's predicament seemingly, and requested that he return to share something once he was done with his journey. Aaron also made comment that Myne helped the area of the village 50 years ago and hasn't changed. Myne said she's a phantom who can't die.

Memil and Rafale have a philosopher's stone so I guess immortality seems close. They also learnt of Fate (or Corpse) killing Hado.

Episode 8 was good. Roxy passed through the same village that Fate did last episode, and met Aaron. Apparently her parents and Aaron were friends, and Aaron even was the one to name Roxy. Apparently, her parents never mentioned him. xD Aaron gave Roxy the same training he gave Fate.

Fate and Myne arrived at Myne's destination, which was her village, or what was left of it. Everything was basically destroyed. There, their focus was the egg, a single surviving Chimera created by their village. It seems in life Myne new the girl twisted into the Chimera, perhaps a sibling. Despite dooming the girl's soul to a terrible fate, Fate was the only one that could destroy the Chimera with Gluttony's ability to devour the soul.

It was a rough fight, but they pulled through. That's where Myne and Fate parted, with Myne staying behind to rebuild her village. Before leaving, Fate asked her to take him down if he ever went berserk. Fate then arrived in the city of Babylon where Roxy also arrived. Some girl there seems to be plotting her death.

Episode 9 was good. Babylon is a hot spot for mercenaries, former holy knights and those that hate holy knights, largely due to the monsters that need slaying there. Everything is stupid expensive in Babylon, so much so that Fate is struggling a bit. It was decided for Fate to get some better gear, but off the bat he couldn't really afford anything. xD

Fate went to the battlefield to slay some monsters to earn some money. He didn't want to interrupt the people fighting Orcs already, so ended up focussing on the Orcs that were trying to surprise attack them. He took out two companies worth, and the people were surprised at the harvested monster parts from that amount of orcs. Some of the warriors even claimed he stole their loot. Fate fought them off before Roxy intervened. Fate disguised as corpse explained the situation, and so she disciplined the other people that attacked him.

With the 100 gold coins he bought a scabbard for Greed and also some other gear. He agreed to act as advertising for Jade Stratos who has been running his own shop for a few months. He still had to pay, but at a discounted rate. xD

Fate finally met Lust, the woman who basically charms people and lures them in to some degree. She acts as a guardian of the Kingdom, and approves actions that are likely to benefit the Kingdom, even if the payoff isn't for many years. That's why she orchestrated a plan to kill Roxy, so a powerful holy knight will be born at some point in the future. Seems stupid. Fate obviously is furious and has no interest in working with her.

Episode 10 was good. Fate went in search of magic crystals for the scabbard for his sword. Fate went out to slay monsters while seeking the magic crystals, and soon encountered salamanders that seemed to be controlled. Those salamanders also attacked Roxy's group, which lead to Fate interfering and helping them.

While fate continued, he stumbled across petrified monsters, which was unusual. He also found a trapped chimera, with a few that had broken free. The Chimeras has monsters as the hosts and attacked Roxy's group. Fate teamed up and fought together with Roxy to take them out.

They almost defeated the final one, before the ground gave way. Fate took the fall, saving Roxy, but having his masked knocked off in the process. Somehow, she didn't see. Fate finally took out the last Chimera which followed them underground. The magic crystals he was seeking also came from the monster at that point. I assume that Lust was controlling the monsters/chimeras. At the end, it looked like basically an inverse Fate was approaching.

Episode 11 was good. Started out with Roxy challenging Fate (Corpse) to a duel, because someone had been basically framing him as committing crime/vandal acts. Fate gave it a bit of a fight, but in the end, lost because he was distracted by the necklace she wore, which was crafted from the gem he bought her.

Roxy had to fight off a stampede of monsters called a death march with the other holy knights. While Roxy and the others were preoccupied with the death march, Fate intervened the other monster which was targeting them. The other masked man also appeared, and it turned out to be Northern, who was amongst Roxy's comrades it seemed. Northern is the wielder of the weapon of mortal sin Envy, a gun sword. Northern has reached the domain of E, while Fate is still at capacity in terms of human abilities. Fate ended up entering the domain of E and getting the power needed to combat Northern.

Northern has the divine dragon attack Roxy to kill her, and Fate arrived in time to shield her from the blast, only for his mask to break and Roxy to realize that Corpse is actually Fate.

Episode 12 was alright. So Fate blocked the attack then immediately devoured the divine dragon. He let Northern take his arm then finished him off, but by that point Gluttony had taken over and he was going to lose control. Myne showed up to finish him off, but Roxy saved him from the blow, and then somehow things just ended up ok.

Fate woke up after a few days and Eris said the plan to kill Roxy was all Northern's so that is the end of that and they're all fine. xD Fate got his arm back with Greed's next level up, and then left to train to control his powers.
