Treyarch is developing 2015's Call of Duty game, Activision announced today. During an investor call, Activision said this year's CoD title will be the first from Treyarch to have a three-year development cycle. The first Call of Duty game to receive three years of development time was last year's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Treyarch was the developer behind Call of Duty 3, World at War, Black Ops, Black Ops II, and other non-mainline Call of Duty games. Treyarch's studio head Mark Lamia recently shared at the Las Vegas DICE Summit that the series' beloved Zombies mode almost didn't exist. Since its launch in 2003, the Call of Duty franchise has earned over $11 billion USD. IGN Logo
Hopefully they go back to an older war. At first WWII stuff was done to hell, so CoD 4 refreshed things. Now the modern and near future stuff is done way too much, so I wouldn't mind a new WWII Call of Duty or some other older war.
I remember something like this when Bo1 came out, a huge amount of the fan base was mad over it because it was a huge change from mw2 to bo1, and now it's the other way around, most are tired of the new futuristic stuff, and want something like the old wars, i myself want something like this too! hopefully they go back to old warfare.
Hoping for World at War 2 as these images show it. Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler But knowing alot of leaks that come out early prior to the actual confirmation, can't say for sure. ;-;
Yeah I remember why everyone complained. It was mostly the people who had picked up "Quick Scoping" and such, since that was pretty much obsolete in this one. Also, the pacing was slowed down a bit for the most part (lightweight was removed I am pretty sure and I think marathon was changed). I actually really liked BO1 though, even though MW2 was my favorite game of the series (up there with CoD4). I like it when they feel different from each other, because it keeps the game fresh (It is why I have liked both of the new games, Advanced Warfare more than Ghosts).
Well, this game was officially announced, and it looks rather shit, tbh. Can't believe they stayed with the same feel as bo2....
