That was the worse. Other animes had some sort of technology beforehand and only kind of upgraded their tech according to the year of each release. But Naruto just went from using hawks and pigeons to communicate straight to smartphones.

Sometimes I feel as though humanity has not evolved as I thought it did. With so much available knowledge out there you’d think people would be smart enough to do the most basic thing to save humanity. And than when you see stuff like this its a huge eye opener that we are still gonna take many more years to evolve as a society. I never knew there were so many dumb people around. Lesson learned assume someone is dumb unless proven otherwise.
