^ Those figures are actually a low-ball. If you include shootings where two individuals were killed in a public place (that figure is actually for minimum three deaths), it shoots up dramatically.

I need something for self-defence. What should I get? A .38 cal revolver? A 9x19 mm NATO certified pistol with a 20 round capacity? A .45 ACP pistol with a 13 round capacity? A military-grade semi-automatic rifle which can hold a 100-round drum, be converted to full auto, and kill people from 600 metres (2000 feet)?
