How do you decide what anime to watch next?

Popularity and Genre. No shame in the first one.

 

What looks interesting and looks like something that I would enjoy. Sometimes I'll try something if the praise behind it is overwhelmingly high even if I normally wouldn't check it out.

 

Deppends on the timing,once I will be lkie I wanna watch something old I've never seen before,later I'll just be man this is so bothersome and I'd pick up something what catches my eye

Timing it is.

 

I don't. I get other people to tell me what to watch. Only problem is I get a billion things on my watch list and I never finish what I start.

 

I'm all over the place tbh. I usually go off my PTW, since I have a bad habit of not only ignoring currently airing stuff I want to watch, but putting off watching stuff for when I'm in the mood for it.

Sometimes I'll have an urge to watch a specific genre so I'll go hunting for whatever is around. Sometimes I don't even really watch what is popular, and have a grand time enjoying how bad some series are, like Diabolik Lovers, for example. The show is so terrible, and I really thrive on that kind of thing sometimes.

Pretty much lol. Unless it's something kardus wants to watch as well, this usually happens.

 

Face-value appeal. I basically pick a book by its cover and I'm not ashamed to admit that. I have a very nieche taste so a lot of the "big stuff" that people praise all around doesn't appeal to me that much (this doesn't only apply to anime but media in general) and the stuff I do like I like simply because it rings with me.

 

I read the synopsis and see if it's decent.
