I enjoyed this ep, was a pretty decent opening for the ToP, albeit not quite living up to the hype, but I think it'll get there a few eps in. When Gohan and co were surrounded, the OST reminded me of something from DBZ, I also enjoyed the one where things were getting started in the battle - can't recall how far into the ep now. lol I almost thought Goku was going to be ringed out, just because it's so retarded I wouldn't have put it past Toei LOL. Kinda annoying he needs SSB for like literally everything. I thought for sure the contestants that were out were going to be destroyed like the planets with the Omni Kings, just because it like stalled on the picture of the first ring out for ages. Jiren's hype is building up more, hoping Gohan and Piccolo will get more involved; Roshi and the others too. Hit needs more focus too. Looking forward to next ep.

 

Many people are speculating this. As of today's episode, it aligns perfectly with this thought.

You're not wrong, lol. It was to be expected really. Not expecting much progression for a few eps. Seems about right. Also, only 1 minute passed this ep. inb4 48 eps of ToP.

 

I feel like 14-18 eps should be about enough, but then again, there's 88 people - or so.

Yeah, it said like at the end, "47 minutes remaining," and it started with 48.
