Okay, so i think this idea is nothing special and not very innovative, but i would like to have the option to just give a post i like a thumbs up or something. I see the rate button but that appears to be bit much (maybe?) It does not have to be super pretty, a simple "+1" would be enough. Also it would be nice (ofc) to show how many users liked this post, otherwise this option might be useless. I know that this will include some coding but i would say it'll be worth it. The forum is nice as it is at the momemt, don't get me wrong, but im just looking for a way to improve it.
Will take into consideration, I always thought a like and dislike feature would be kind of seldom in usefulness myself, but if people like it I'll give it a shot. Everyone else, please post some more feedback here so we can get some insight whether to add it or not.
I think the thumbs up/down feature is useful in things like suggestion threads, but anywhere else it wouldn't have much purpose.
I get your point and im not trying to convince you, but i feel like giving "thumbs up" is better than making a reply with something like "yeah, that is awesome" or "nice" to show the OP that you liked his/her post.
You make a good point. Though, I still think it would be most useful in suggestion threads or even Q & A threads.
