I have this itching feeling that Grand Saber is someone related to Morgan or a really famous world leader that got genderbended.

tbh karna and arjuna have like opposite bond level up lines

Karna calls talking to you boring at a lower level bond
Then calls you strange but apparently not in a bad way at a higher level, and that your commands are fine
Then at the next level he tells you you can share with him your troubles if you think he is able to help.
Then he mentions Jinako saying his mistakes was saying too little and asks you if he has improved, which gets a positive response

And his ascension lines are wondering at all the faith that has been placed in him, and the valuable Noble Phantasms he's been entrusted with. He thinks he might be the luckiest Heroic Spirit of all, and at final ascension "So this... is what it means to be speechless. Thank you, Master. So long as this elation beats in my chest, my spear shall never fail."

But Arjuna is like always polite to you at first in a haughty kind of way, commenting its not you thats the problem but battles are boring because theres no way he can lose, right, because he's better than everyone. His thing is about having striven to be the noble hero everyone saw him as despite not really being like that.
It also like explains Arjunas immediate personal dislike of Karna here, since he saw through that, as he can easily understand people (Seen in Apocrypha too) and can point it out, though he didn't fully understand it, angering Arjuna, in addition to the fact that Karna was a noble person despite ostensibly being a villain, and could do so without trying where Arjuna had to try. It's why he wants the solitude thing, so that he won't have to act and pretend anymore.

Also at the final level bond, he's like " i hate people who've seen inside my heart..." and he notices you've seen his real face like that and that makes him sad and tells you to keep it secret, inb4 kills you in your sleep.

 

I can't be the only one wishing for a Karna vs Arjuna rematch in F8.

Well, not in GO.

GO would just make it feel butchered as shit. If the work that comes after GO is a VN, Karna vs Arjuna rematch would be amazing.

Also, did Karna ever get riled up in Mahabharata by anything Arjuna said? I like the idea of Arjuna being the only one who could piss off Karna.
