Forum Structure BETA

I've gone ahead and change some things around a bit. The biggest changes are at the bottom of the forum. Myself and @Gobb were talking about this last night, and I've just gone ahead and implemented it on the forum so users can give their input.

• Artist's Corner has been moved up to General Community. It has also been renamed "Creative Corner."
• Moved some sub forums back out into plain sight.
• Members Corner is now known as "Sugoi Desu Arcade"
• Chatroom Corner is now the head of the SD Arcade.
• SD Arcade is now known as "Forum Games"

Users on Shinobu 2.0 - we have enabled subforum view on the front page. It looks like this:


Please give us feedback on this changes! I would honestly prefer it, as it brings more attention to sub forums.

 

I personally don't understand the point of some of the changes the new groupings sound confusing +.+

I don't really get why the chatroom corner is in the arcade section +.+

 

I didn't feel that it fit in to the Member's Corner in the way the rest of the sections there do. All of the other sections have a focus point for discussion, and tends to be more on topic and encourages discussion.

Chatroom Corner goes against that. We have the Cafe thread for general chatting with no purpose (Which is fine) But the rest of the contents of the forum are 90% forum game or spam threads. Personally I think that fits in more with being in the Forum Arcade. Fun, games and silliness.

I sometimes feel like that as well. But, I ultimately decided on this, because I feel like the Chatroom Corner should get more attention by being at the top of a category for once.

 

Looks okay to me. I don't find anything difficult to track down.
