    It's not that this is a video game, it's just that this VIDEO GAME actually has a GREAT PLOT to be made as a movie.

    They aren't just off, they are based on something that doesn't exist. There are only five books (not counting the latest background thingy) which make the basis for the first five seasons. Even then they started making things slightly differently compared to the books and some they didn't include.
