I didn't know that, but it makes sense when taking the arc into consideration. It's so silly he doomed his own work like that, because the last arc had so much potential. The main thing that annoyed me though, is all the unanswered questions and missing lore bits, that was never resolved.
Sure they might touch some of those subjects in the sequeal but I highly doubt it -.-;

I think the same thought can be applied to Fairy Tail's sequel though, because there's a toon of stuff that just seems forced
and out of context
I started reading Boruto and I agree it was pretty awful. However I found the anime to be fairly enjoyable, for some bizarre reason o.o;

i found that anime god awful shit tier apart from 2 or 3 arcs aka gaiden arc[which was adapted from manga];the adaptation of boruto movie and one arc that had kisame type kiri ninja or swordsman whatever

I thought some of those questions may be answered in the Fairy Tail 100: Years Quest manga. But it turned out to be . . . well different is the nicest thing I can think of saying.
