    That's true. I read somewhere that Modi apparently follows some right-wing thugs on twitter. If the PM of the country himself is following rightwing trolls it's no surprise that their opinions are disseminated easily which consequently amplifies their impact on the country at large.

    Damn, it must be bad for there to be a book about it. Lots of Indians probably agree with the right wing trolls behind closed doors though. It's the same with the US and Trump, most Trump supporters didn't admit to supporting Trump prior to the election due to being fearful of being ostracised, which is one of the reasons why the polls predicted Trump would lose when he went on to win rather comfortably.

    Yes, I definitely agree with that. I don't live in India but from what I've read lots of them feel like their religion is in danger(this goes for the minority groups too). It's a pity that lots of people in South Asia are so paranoid that their religion is in danger.

    ^ Yup. Exactly this. I have family members who think Hinduism is in danger of extinction. Which is beyond f@cking pathetic considering that a thousand years of Islamic conquering and Christian missionary work didn't do so and 83% of the country is still Hindu.
