That's how it is though.

We kill animals left and right even though there is no real need for such a meat heavy diet (and don't get me started with leather products) and we do it casually, like it's nothing. The fact that the chinese kill one more isn't a big deal especially since we only sympathize with dogs because we like pets but I've seen plenty of non-chinese people from our countries that have eaten dogs or would like to try. People hold rabbits as pets but dog-owners kill and eat them all the time. It's all just personal bias and preference at work and though we would like there to be some intristic worth in dogs, there's really no difference. If we're killing all other animals, we might as well kill them too.

We're the most ruthless species in the known universe fam. Let that sink in.

 

Rex is one of the main protagonists. He's there in most episodes.

He has a really great character arc in Season 4. You will really love him in that arc. Oh boy, that arc is fantastic.

Btw I'm having job interview on Wednesday. But its hard because same day earlier I got proposition from my friend, courier job.. So I have to dismiss something, and success is not guaranteed so I can still be jobless AND lose alternative at the same time.

Business travel consultant vs courier. One fairly easy job literally around the corner, but working weekends and night shifts from time to time. Other rather complicated with driving around and dealing with all delivery documentation but rather fixed hours plus free weekends.
