Because letting naruto to be taken away by akatsuki is much better, and that's what would happen if not Hinata. Noone else did jump to fight, naruto got rekt. And you get HINATA, yeah, the same Hinata to jump and try to break the rods. Sakura does... none.

There are moment you could literally remove her from the screen and nothing does change, that's how little impact she has on the storyline through way way too many scenes.

Uh, the actual flow of events:
Kabuto attacks from underground
Tsunade evades
Nukes earth around (oh wait not enough to kill kabuto who's literally meter away)
Kabuto appears behind tsunade
Thigh and arm scalpel hit
Jump back
Kabuto attacks again
Direct chest hit
Kabuto gets directly hit with the nerve system disruption which he gets over very quickly before tsunade can heal
He literally says his jutsu didn't cut deep enough because of big breasts (and sakuras a flatie)
He rushes tsunade we see her in panic
Boom, naruto Jirayia and shizune for the rescue...

For me that's pretty much... Getting stomped.

Did you watch the video I posted earlier? You basically have everything straight explained why sakura gets all the deserved hate.

 

If you are manga fan,not reading One Piece is a sin of all sins,I bet PRIEST in Chruch would give you the eye if you said "I never read One Piece"

 

This is just me talking and no bias but Hinata compared to Sakura has no fight experience.

Sakura beat one of the Akatsuki which alone is a thing of it's own compared to Hinata who was always portrayed as weakling.

Realistically if you are telling me that Hinata can beat Sakura in 1v1 duel I'll say straight up nonsense. Sakura in every feat possible is stronger than Hinata.Sakura's "MEGA" punch would absolutely destroy Hinata if it connects.

Rightly so,Hinata was never portrayed as a fighter which comes from PART 1 where Hanabi bested Hinata. Hinata is not a fighter and she will never be.

No really,897 chapters isn't much :D you once get through it and then you'll love every single bit of it...Naruto had 700 chapters that's just 200 chapters more

Doesn't matter with whom or not,Sakura was the one with the tactics and everything.
