    I guess people like the typical goofy i'm not giving up MC. Personally, If the author wants it that way fine. Just give me a good story. No power inconsistencies(looking at you dbs) no nakama power and definitely no asspulls which i think is a recurring theme in bc lol.

    Easier said than done if you write yourself into a corner. Plus, I don't think a mangaka is entirely to blame given the big corporations and editors they have to appease.
