    eh sometimes, most of the time i will use game audio but it's not 0 game volume just low or the sound/ost off. but if i'm not playing a game yeah i usually have some background noise xD

    I did not, actually. Fukk.

    Yesterday and Saturday I spent some time playing Halo multiplayer while listening to music that got me pumped. Actually managed to kick some ass while playing.

    I want to try speedrunning once while doing the same. I might actually do well.

    I think it very much depends on the game you're playing and a lot of the time I will coop with friend so in that case we just chat no need for other background audio

    Speedrunning or challenge running could definitely be fun

    Yeah. But for solo plays, it's fine. Also for multiplayer where one does not want to bother with in-game audio chat (I do mostly in-game text chat).

    Yeah. I want to try getting all the campaigns done in under three hours on the highest difficulty. It normally takes me ten (more for the likes of Halo 2 and Reach, because they are beyond brutal).

    it can also depend on type of game, sometimes they'll have audio queues which could **** you over if you can't hear.

    Damn, that would be a mission! Could be frustrating and also fun! Also, apparently large 5090 stock between Mar and April

    Audio cues... Damn, I'm getting flashbacks to some of Halo's creepiest missions: walking down what looks like an empty hallway and suddenly hearing a space zombie growl behind you. Yeesh...

    At least in vanilla gameplay (no skulls) you have a motion tracker. It also helps to memorize all the Flood combat form spawn points. I have done runs on low or muted audio before (albeit on lower difficulty settings).

    The frustrating parts are certain missions which seem designed specifically to mentally torture the player.

    Halo 2 and Reach are difficult as fukk on the whole, but you can get by with enough skill and reflexes. But all the other games have that one mission which seems designed to disorient or torture you. There are three missions from some of the easiest Halo titles which seem purpose-built to make one want to bang their head against the keyboard or throw the controller at the monitor.

    That's . . . good? Sucks that you might have to potentially wait two more months for one, though.

    I remember playing reach back in the day the daily challenges like LASO. Shit was hard as.

    You . . . tried Reach LASO? Bruh... Did you go to therapy afterwards? I'm a regular player of this franchise I dare not try Halo 2 and Reach LASO ever again.
