So...

Some drunk old fart (looked to be in his late 60s) came in front of my car. I swerve to avoid hitting him full on but my left rear view mirror hits him in the left arm (and is knocked off completely).

I get out and say I will take him to the nearest hospital.

He says his arm is in pain, but not injured and just runs off...

Some lady on a motorcycle stops near my car, says he's a habitual drunkard, and tells me to just be on my way.

I cannot stop thinking about that old fart and how he is right now.

I should have taken him to a hospital. Or at least called a cop and told them to do so.

I also cannot stop thinking about whether he was a freaking cyborg because of what happened to my rear view mirror and his just running off like that at his age.

 

He ran off what could have you done

 

You did your part, you couldn't forcefully take him to the hospital. Whatever happens to him now is on him.
