    I ******* HATE THAT.
    >you're googling for hours off of what you think some beat or words of it are.
It's literally worse than hitler. You know any lyrics at all?

    • When a song is stuck in my head, I generally remember the lines of the song.
    • I then write it down on a notepad and then single out important phrases.
    • The reason for doing so is that the name of the song could be those important phrases especially if they repeat a lot.
    • I then google search those phrases and make a list of songs that have those lines that I had written previously.
    • I download and listen to the songs that I come across.
    • Whichever song fits my memory I keep, the rest I delete.
    • Then I listen to the song a few times till I confirm that it was the same song.
Nowadays though I have learned from my experience and simply keep Google Music Search ready and use that to find out songs. It also helps if you remember which show or channel the song was used in to track it down easily later on.
