Okay, here is how this is going to work. Everyone who participates in AOTW or is interested, please PM me a list of themes you think you would like to see in future contests. Please don't PM me ******* one or two, I want a huge-ass list.

I'll take it and decide the themes myself by popular mention, or by sharing them with Gobb and talking it over.

 

well that's a good idea that you need to draw your own character for avatar? and then edit it however you want?

also would be great if there is another award for AOTW only for hard challenge winners? so you'd feel speical in a way winning something hard :D

A lot of these ideas fit into what I'm planning! Happy to see that this will probably work out :3

 

Alright, thanks to the suggestions and thoughts people sent into me, we're going to do AOTW a little differently from now on. A lot of the suggestions given for themes can be grouped together by type, so that is what we are going to do from now.

Basically for each month, we are going to have set themes that take place each week.

Week One: Colours.
Yuuuup. Blue, green, red whatever. When we manage to get through singular colours, we'll bloody combine them, Blue green? Purple yellow? Rainbow theme inc.

Week Two: Genre
Everyone who talked to me listed off things like sci-fi, supernatural, etc. All of that stuff will be here.

Week Three: Gaming/Anime Themes.
Again, everyone suggested anime or game related themes. We can do a lot of things with this, from singular characters to entire franchises.

Week Four: Freestyle.
A couple of people mentioned this, I felt it was probably a good idea to throw it in there.


The current AOTW was going to be the start of this new plan, but I wasn't aware that the theme was Machines and not blue. So much for that! We'll come around to colour again next month.

I hope this is satisfactory for everyone - if there are any issues... well.. you had your chance to speak up and talk with me personally about it (Which a few participants did) so unless there are any severe issues with the plan, you're a bit too late now. As for what goes on for what week, I'll probably start polls for the NEXT aotw during the CURRENT to see what people fancy.

I get that Rohan made a mistake from Mythical Creatures to Blue,but how did you come from Blue,Creatures to Machines...I'll never know
