Monster Hunter General

This is so much like that meme where people say it's bad because they just can't play it. Yeah, you gotta put away your weapon to use items. You gotta also put it away to run, but you can still role to evade things by pressing B. You just gotta use an item after a monster attacks that you've already moved out of the way from. You can also just go into another area. As for what to do, you basically just to the tutorial quests that teach you how to play, then do the quests.

 

You can only lock onto the bigger "boss" monsters which is by clicking the unseen Icon when you see it change to a monster icon. Otherwise you gotta use the c-stick or dpad on the touch screen to move the camera. Alternatively you could use the left bumper when you've moved around a bit.

 

It's all apart of what makes the game harder and better. How boring is it if you constantly know the monster's HP? 90% of big monster limp when they are close to death.

 

You basically outlined an entire meme with your complaints.

 

I swear it is too, but just the start. There are plenty of harder monster later.

I mean, if you don't even want to really play it properly. You gotta play it for a decent amount of time to get a hang of it all.
