What are good event ideas for the forum

    What are cool event ideas to host, we have the occasional game days we could branch off that other things maybe group streaming or something

    I think we should host awards for certain things people vote for reward contributors to the forum showcase them

    We could have days dedicated letting the base learn about new series and voting on it and celebrating old series and changing avis dedicated to it

    And I think this forum suppose to satire weebo culture show why not have a day dedicated to that change our avis dedicated to it and vote members for certain categories

    Anyone have any suggestions

    Gobb is currently working on streaming and you got an event few days ago...also Easter is here soon so there's another event...I think everything is good as it is,only activity is needed.

    The RP is almost out in the open, so that will be something. There is also the mafia rp and forum games and contest.

    For letting people know about new series, there is a section where all news feeds are posted. "Ai and Ko's feed." When you watch something new of the season of airing anime, we make a thread in the seasonal anime discussion, I feel there isn't much point in making a thread on every series of only 3-4 threads are used.

    For events, we do an event for like every main holiday. Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, next is Easter as loj pointed out.

    For contributions to the forum, people are usually rewarded with pro/keno. For banners in guides, Rohan credits them in the guide. There isn't much else that people do here.

    Changing avatars for certain things may be interesting, but we had thought of making a contest for ava/sig/profile cover, which would be similar to that.

    It seems like most of your suggestions are covered, to a degree. The main issue is the number of people active at any one time. If we had 30 constantly active, even, I think this things would sort of flesh out further themselves.

    For rewarding contributions I think make it more festive we should have the forum create awards and award it to people periodically getting humorous awards and people deciding would be fun.

    There is a trophies system which is based on posts and likes and that. You can put in custom message. But maybe we can do some sort of "fun" awards that're given out at random a lottery or voting based or something.

    I've already thrown out the idea of an SD lottery, or even a type of Bingo that users can play for either Keno or Pro sub. I haven't really thought up anything really solid yet, but if there is interest, I'll probably end up working on it more.

    Gobb is currently working on streaming right now - which when implemented will help make Anime Rewatches go along a lot smoother. I run those, and I'm holding off until this feature is ready.

    Along with the above, I've broached the topic of a SD Twitch channel with Gobb. Basically we could have the channel host various members streaming from their own twitch accounts, and have the video and chat embedded into it's own page. It's only been discussed as a possibility, but I'll be more inclined to push for it when we get more activity or if any interest arises from my posting this in the open.
