Cancelled SD's Poetry Contest Expression of Interest - Jan 2016

Alrighty, since this is the first time that we're holding this contest, I'll do a quick run-down of how this works.

This thread is for anyone who is interested in participating in the contest. I'll say this only once. Now, to express interest...just say that you'd like to participate or something. Idk. I'm not gonna tell you to just say "I'd like to participate" or something, because reading the same shit gets boring real quick. As long as you mention somewhere in your post that you're participating, I don't care what's in it. Just don't cross the line with what you post >.> (Just checked the announcement thread for this. Yes, I did state you must post "I would like to participate" but I changed my mind).

This thread will be open for 1 week. On Sunday, the 17th of January, at 5:50 PM GMT +11, this thread will be closed. When you have posted in this thread and have made it clear that you wish to take part in the contest, you can PM either me or @Kagerou your poem (in case I'm not around to manage things, or vice versa). You can submit your work whenever you wish, as long as it is within the 1 week of this thread being open, or before the follow-up to this thread is made, which will contain the participants' work.

So, to summarise.

Starting today, this thread will be open for one week, and you can express interest if you want to participate. After the one week has passed, and the allotted time to express interest has expired, this thread will be closed. Within that time, participants are to submit their work to the contest holders via PM between the contest holder and the participant only. Two days after the closing of this thread, a thread will be posted by a contest holder containing the participants' poems. A poll will be up, and people can vote.

There are no restrictions on writing style or format, only that you stick to the theme.
