The episode has been out for about 20 minutes now (as of posting this comment) on animekai. However, their servers have fvcking crashed by the traffic. I can't access it at all either via normal means or even Tor browser.

Inject Episode 8 straight into my veins. The Fullbringers saved Ichigo's ZPT. Thank you for your service Tsukishima. Ichigo's ZPT is now repaired. Orihime working overtime for Ichigo. Yhwach descends down to the soul society where he meets Chair sama. HE SAID THE LINE!! WELCOME TO MY SOUL SOCIETY!!!!! Aizen is so cool man. The coolest Bleach Villain. My boy literally played mind games laden 4D chess with God, and beat him Too bad Yhwach can't be killed. Yhwach thought it was Ichigo and not Renji, but it was actually Aizen. Genius. Kyosuigetsu can even fool Yuhabaha. Now Yhwach is hovering over the 3 realms signaling doomsday. Shunsui and co made their way to the human world to fight. Grimjow and Harribel in Hueco Mundo and Himchigo and Uryu in Soul Society. Uryu has the silver arrowhead his father gave, probably will stun Yhwach while Ichigo finishes him off, or the plan could fall on its head like always Next episode is called THE BLADE. Exciting.

 

I just watched the episode. Holy shite, that ending is completely new and hopefully setting up a lot of characters to shine (or at the very least fvcking do something in the final stages of this war).

Introducing the most badass Hado: Level 99: Goryutenmetsu (Five Dragon Swirling Tempest of Destruction). Man, even the name is just something. It is a forbidden Hado, as it used the environmental spiritual power of whatever realm it is used in to power itself, with the potential to destabilize that realm. The only Hados more powerful are the Secret Hado spells used by Ichibei Hyosube.

Also... Just the fact that Aizen can use that Hado - and that too with incantation abandonment - without outright devastating a continent-sized area shows his mastery of Kido.

Sadly, they animated it to be golden-yellow. Goryutenmetsu is supposed to reflect the colour of the user's reiatsu. It is supposed to have been purple (Aizen's reiatsu colour) just as it should be red when used by Urahara (as detailed in the novels and video games).

 

Tsukishima saving Tensa Zangetsu by creating a new past timeline where it wasn't broken, thus allowing Orihime to fix it in the current timeline. She could not do so before because it was "broken in the future". Orihime can reject events that have happened in the past, not events that technically haven't happened yet (even if Yhwach applied their consequences in the present).

Also... Orihime... Sweet princess... Ichigo, marry her right after this, you idiot.

Also... We see Ryuken handing Uryu the Still Silver arrow (Standspitze) in person and explaining the source of the silver used to forge it. Kubo seems to be intent on changing the way it is used in the final battle, especially since we seemingly have a new role for Mimihagi to play in this fight.

Fan Theory: Aizen already applied Kyokasuigetsu on Yhwach when moustache king came to recruit him in Muken. If he had tried to do so now, Yhwach could have just used The Almighty to pick a future where he was released from Kyokasuigetsu's effects. Aizen pulled an Urahara and planned for a contingency 8 or 9 days in advance.

Laraib, dear boy, everything after the ending theme played is completely new. This includes Yhwach merging himself with all three realms. This retcons past lore that he would destroy the three realms by merely destabilizing the flow of souls and reincarnation cycle. This confirms new lore and hints that he is going to destroy everything with his own power.

It is likely that Kyoraku directed Harribel and the Arrancar forces to get to Hueco Mundo as fast as possible, foreseeing this shite. And he himself got to Karakura with Gotei 13 forces. He likely decided that Ichigo, Uryu, and perhaps Aizen would be enough to keep Yhwach busy in Soul Society.

Man, Ukitake wasn't wrong to place his faith in this man.

@Gobb Yammy's Hollow pupper is alive. We learn in a novel that Harribel and the Tres Bestias found him and tried to care for him. The good boy is well and alive and now 100% confirmed part of Harribel's crew.

Bad news, lads. The next two episodes are delayed by a month. Instead of being released on the 19th and 26th of September, they will be released on the 19th and 26th of October. Yup. Official confirmation by the animation staff themselves.

 

Yes, the Tsukishima stuff happened in the manga. It played out exactly the same as in the manga. Sadly, it seems as though the Fullbringers' role has come to an end. Even Ginjo won't have anything new to do, it seems, despite his [spoilers] heritage. That's okay, I guess. Despite being low captain level, he's fodder right now compared to the big hitters like Uryu, Aizen, Ichigo, Yhwach. Even Renji & Rukia might be stronger.

By the way: Everything after the end-credits song is 100% brand new.

Apparently, the animation directors and staff themselves were not happy with the quality of this episode. They delayed the next two episodes (which should actually be almost finished) in order to further polish them and also because of some other reasons.

It's okay I have an important exam on 25th so will probably watch the last 2 together without stress
