Discussion Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Conflict

Episode 11 was great. Shunsui had a bit of a flaky relationship with his brother, but when Nanao's mother came along, things smoothed out. His brother died and gave him a hair pin, and Nanao's mother entrusted the Ise clan's Zanpakuto to Shunsui to hide, before she herself was executed by Central 46 due to making the sword disappear, leaving him with the hair pin and presumably Kimono. The sword had no blade but can reflect a God's light, which is how with the help of Shunsui, Nanao was able to take out Lille Barro.

 

Episode 12 was fantastic, and sad, maybe even bittersweet. Bazz B and Haschwalth go way back, Bazz stumbled upon Jugo and provided rabbit for him to give to his uncle who was abusive. Jugo didn't seem to have any talent as a Quincy, but Bazz did. Yhwach levelled their home and they made an oath to kill him together. Fast forward, Bazz continued to flourish whilst Jugo made no real progress. A chance encounter with Yhwach again had Jugo revealed to be his other half, and apparently he's the reason Bazz progressed so much, while he didn't, as Jugo like Yhwach gets power through "giving" it to others before taking it back. When Bazz attacked Yhwach, Jugo was the one to stop the attack, so he felt further betrayal. Skip forward to when Bazz finally became a Sternritter and Jugo was the commander, Bazz kept trying to fight Jugo but it would always be ignored. So the fight now, is what Bazz has been wanting for a long time, only it didn't go how he wished, which was his undoing.

 

Shunsui is a selfcest chad? HOLY.

Episode 13 was good. Gerard is the Soul King's heart, and his schriff which is innate is The Miracale. With this, he's able to turn the basically fatal damage received to increase his size, turning him into a giant as big as the largest building. This has the group fighting him in trouble. Yoruichi confronted Askin allowing Ichigo, Orihime and Chad to run on. Yushiro also appeared to help, and already seems proficient in Shunko even though he was only just thought. Unfortunately Askin turned the lethal dose of his power all the way up so he's basically immune to Yushiro's attack and badly wounds him. On the flip side, Uryu was confronted by Haschwalth as what he views as a future traitor, and this caused Ichigo to stumble upon Uryu. Isshin and Ryuken are cooking something up.
