    Shinji was the same in the past. He never recovered since cutting his hair. I think the length of hair (or eyebrows/beard) may have some correlation. xD

    His voice actor was also sad. He really loves the character and wanted to get to say bankai at least once.

    Just the sheer amount of energy required for Yhwach to lift the Wandenreich is mind-boggling.

    Then there is Shunsui refusing to heal his eye and instead choosing to wear an eye-patch.

    It isn't to remember his failings. Oh, no. He wanted the extra drip.

    Episode 7 was good. LMAO at Kenpachi and Hanataro taking a piss so missed the original gate and had to go in with Mayuri. xD Man, not good, Lille Barro just sniping the Shinigami and they were dropping like flies. Renji happened upon Uryu and they had a large fight. It seemed like Renji won, but in the end, Uryu did. I think the battlefield really helped Uryu pull the win. GG. LMAO and Grimmjow chasing down Askin only for him to keep barely getting away. xD Looks like Askin defeated him, now Ichigo arrived to help.

    I just wish the anime retained his ham-cheese-cucumber sandwich scene from when he was watching Gremmy vs Kenpachi via binoculars.

    The anime also cut Jugram's monologue on the Lloyd twins, which was an even bigger shame.

    Episode 8 was good. Man, Kurotsuchi had many good moments, he's had a lot during TYBW. He and Kenpachi stumbled upon Pernida and Kenpachi rushed in to attack despite Mayuri's warnings, and thought he "took" the head, only to have his arm messed up. It then twisted even more and Kenpachi tore it off before it turned into mush, which was lucky as it saved his life. Kenpachi rushed in again, only for the similar thing to happen. Mayuri "backstabbed" him, but used paralysis to save him, before going in on the attack. It's finally revealed that Pernida is the Soul King's right arm! Mayuri seemed to have the upper hand. At some point he developed tech the simulate Hirenkyaku. so he didn't touch the ground filled with nerves. When Mayuri severed a finger, it turned into another arm, which is rough. When he got his arm infected with nerves, he just performed one handed surgery to reconstruct his arm. Crazy. xD Now he used his Bankai to birth a battle attuned version, which had 70,000 nerve layers on the outside, and it just ate Pernida. xD

    Mayuri has been an absolute menace and MVP this arc. The Wandenreich underestimated him because of his loss to Uryu back in Soul Society arc. But, honestly, he deserves to be recognised as the sixth special war power for his "gadgets and adaptability".

    100% Dude feels like he's carrying the entire SS half the time. xD Like how he pulled out some amplifier which allowed them to open the gate. It's always interesting to see what shit he pulls out in his battles too, so it's pretty entertaining.

    Bro. In the novel Can't Fear Your Own World, he had a counter to Tsukishima's Book of the End. He also managed to, without being detected, break into a place that Sui-Feng, the captain of the god damn stealth force, could not break into.

    Episode 7 was good. Kenpachi and Mayuri enter the royal palace together cause he was answering nature's call xD Renji vs Uryu. Man Renji is a bum. Even after all his training he couldn't take down Uryu. He even got a flashback :etard Lmao at Askin running away from Ichigo and Grimjow chasing him down. Only for Askin to body him. Looks like Ichigo will save him though xD
