Discussion Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation

Episode 2 was amazing. Shunsui is in the SS lol ok Juguram goes to him but can't touch him because of the barrier. Toshiro vs Baz B, Ice vs Fire, Ranngiku helped too but at the end Toshiro couldn't beat him without Bankai. Same goes for Soi Fon. Their Spiritual Pressures disappeared. Urahara contacted Mayuri and gave the glad tidings of getting the stolen bankai back

Episode 3 was amazing. Urahara developed Shineyaku which basically hollofied your Bankai deeming it incompatible with Quincy. Toshiro and Soifon got their's back, and they ended their fight pretty quickly. Ikkaku and Hisagi fight the wrestler. I love Shinji's Bankai man, the girl was having such a hard time with it until Voll Sten Deich was activated. Now every one is in trouble. Ichigo walks the woods

 

Episode 4 was amazing. Sajin is actually from the werewolf clan hell bent on revenge. He gave up his heart in order to become stronger, which he did. He one shotted Bambietta but when he was going for Yhwach he became a doggo again. Uryu is meeting the defeated Stern Ritters. Hisagi and Ikkaku got pinned by Mask Musculine, but Rojuru and Kensei are there for a handicap Ichigo has passed the Big Guys's test and is up for the final training! What were those two UFO's that Mask spotted? Rukia and Renji?

 

Shinji's bankai actually premiered in a novel. Then the anime went ahead and added it to an episode. The music that accompanies it is amazing.

Shikai. Nozarashi is his shikai.

Also:
The fact that Gremmy and Zaraki are both casually world-enders is terrifying. If Gremmy unleashed that meteorite on Earth, it'd have levelled the planet's surface. And Zarakai obliterated it with just shikai. And, if he ever does achieve bankai, it'd be five to ten times as powerful.

Yhwach vs Ichibei remains one of my favourite fights in the entirety of Bleach. The peak of what a Shinigami can be versus The peak of what a Quincy can be. Truly a godly (quite literally in this case) battle.

 

Two things:

1. Shinigami can use Senkaimon to quickly traverse from the human world to soul society.

2. Kyoraku is literally the fastest among the current Gotei 13 captain line-up (he was second when Yama was alive). Omaeda said it was Sui-Feng, but he's a bleeding idiot. It is definitely Kyoraku, with Ukitake being a close second. Sui-Feng is easily third. Byakuya fourth.

Regarding Toshiro vs Bazz:
A lot of Bleach fans underestimate Toshiro because of how easily Bazz seemingly defeated him. Especially so among anime watchers. However, two things to remember here:

1. The anime omits some important dialogue from the manga. Bazz says that the only reason he himself, Nanana (black Sternritter with the weird hair), and As Nodt survived Yama-jii's shikai blast was because he offset Yama's flames with his own. That one piece of dialogue solidified Bazz as among the most powerful Sternritter. Not on the level of the Schutzstaffel, mind you, but still among the top eight or nine most powerful overall. And being among the top eight or nine Sternritter among 32+ known Sternritter level Quincy (excluding Yhwach) is mad impressive.

2. Hitsugaya later one-shot Cang Du with his Bankai. Yhwach's statement when stealing Yama-jii's bankai made it abundantly clear that the one stealing the bankai has to have at least comparable spitirual power to the original owner in order to be able to steal and wield the bankai in question. Hitsugaya essentially one-shot someone comparably powerful, while grievously wounded himself. That is actually insane. Imagine being able to take out someone as physically strong as you are - with just one punch or kick - while you yourself are severely injured while the other dude is still at near peak physically. Oh, and Cang Du's Schrift is The Iron, which enhances his durability. Hitsugaya one-shot someone comparably powerful, whose Schrift grants him bonus durability to begin with, while severely wounded himself.

Little ice man should not be taken lightly.

Walking with the following two conditions:

1. He must never lift his feat, meaning they are constantly rubbing against the grass and stones of the path.

2. The spiritual weight of everything that the Soul King supports is weighing him down. He must not fall while the spiritual power of literally all of existence is on his shoulders. Ichigo is walking being weighed down by the human world, soul society, hueco mundo and not falling!
