OG Bleach anime really should have been seasonal, like TYBW and JJK. Being a continuously running series absolutely killed its pacing and necessitated nearly half of the series (45%) being filler. Bleach is the kind of series that is meant to be fast paced, despite the long-ass story.

Hopefully not. Thinking of starting to watch JJK anime some time this year.

Believe it or not, I think most people who analyse Ichigo (myself included) say he is closer to Zaraki in personality.

Ichigo, deep down, actually does love to fight, just like Zaraki (who has proclaimed Ichigo an honorary member of Squad 11 and also seemingly reserved quarters for him in their township). Like Zaraki, however, Ichigo is actually smarter than he lets on, and can be quite analytical and cunning when he wants to be.

I would say Uryu is closer to Ichigo in personality (tactical mind aside) than Renji. Red-head whip boy is all brawn and hard work; not much brain power. He has two brain cells: one for training and one for active combat. Nothing else going on in there. Meanwhile, Ichigo is the second or third best student in his high school, with only Uryu being better. Really.

 

270 was kino. Ichigo just got slammed the entire episode. As if the earlier transformation wasn't enough Ulquiorra transformed another step Orihime and Uryu reached the battlezone but they were too late. UQ blew his heart out
