Hello

How has your day been so far?

 

Got up early, went for a walk with the wife, exercised well, had a nice cup of chai after. Right now working from the in-laws' house.

 

My only issues so far: one client cancelling a meeting on me, and WinTDS software being a daft c*nt.

Bruv the new Nintendo Switch 2 fromsoft exclusive? The Bloodbourne themed game?

 

Same feeling for me with what happened with Bungie's new Marathon title. When it was announced, I was hyped for either a remake or continuation of the original Marathon trilogy. Then they drop a trailer announcing it is a multiplayer only hero shooter similar to Valorant?

Like... What the fukk, bros? You take a game series known for in-depth story & lore and turn it into hero shooter slop?

Bungie really is fukking dead.

 

The sad part is that they will blame either gamers or the anti-SJW crowd (blaming things like sexism, racism, etc when they were never even a factor).

This ends up fuelling a capitalist circle jerk as well as right wing reactionaries. And they all end up being distracted by the fact that big capital is what is ruining gaming.

It is easy. But the executives and stock holders do not care. They will continue to pump out flop slop and just shift the blame elsewhere, while also trying to dictate to gamers what they should and should not like.
