I wonder if it was always planned to be a short manga, because it's something that would be done if there was no intention of it being a longer manga. Like, it seems like everything is kept mostly to a minimum to keep things short, in a specific timeframe.

Yeah, it really doesn't make much sense honestly. Because if it's pattern recognition and they are just exploiting mimics doing the same thing every time, the mimics also time loop so they would simply not do the same thing every time. The concept is cool on paper, but it kind of falls apart when extremely competent soldiers are being killed off easily.

Yeah, idk maybe it's because the more loops done = the worse affects such as the headache, and it's just not well explored due to the short length of the manga? That's the only reason I can really think of, that or it's thought that the more loops = the more chance of the mimics learning that she loops and thus they get an upper hand.

Yeah, that is the thing I am not clear on. Like, does every mimic on the planet learn when someone loops? I assume not, it must only be the ones connected to the server, which must be each individual attack/battle site.

Yeah, a chapter taken to bring it back down, presumably before the big climax.

 

Chapter 15 was good. With the base lost, it's basically a "**** it we ball" scenario. Keiji and Rita are going to fight, even though it isn't "time". So the idea is that Keiji has observed and copied Rita's movements the letter, so they are basically a single unit now. I don't think now right in the middle of a huge battle is the best idea to questioning if Rita has a plan to get out of the loop. The server was spotted and the antenna destroyed!

 

Chapter 16 was good. Well, this is an interesting turn with Rita attacking Keiji. So it's when a mimic determines the situation is against them, they send a signal to the past using their antenna. The reason they got dragged into the loop is because their brains somehow picked up the signal? With going through that loop over and over again, their brain adapted and they ended up becoming the antennas...

The migraines are a side effect, which I already put together as the loops causing it. So Rita has determined that either Keiji or herself needs to die, as they are both backup antennas. While Keiji says he has no fear of death, due to his own promise to fight against the world and live, he doesn't want to just die without fighting. I wonder who lost? It almost seemed like a draw.

I mean if the mimics also learn, trying to bruteforce the same thing over and over will just fail, so has to be something more to it, I hope.

Yeah, I didn't see that sort of thing as the twist, but at the same time makes sense.

Yeah, the whole thing felt incredibly rushed to be honest. Like it was a very abrupt climax -> Rita's death -> Keiji moved on kind of and then just no actual conclusion.

Chapter 17 was good. So the logic is is that Keiji won, because he spent all his time improving his skills based on how she fought, so he could predict her moves. But isn't the idea meant to be a copy cat fails to the original? Bit cliché the whole "she knew all along it would be like this". Indeed although super abrupt, Keiji confessed his love to Rita, and then she died. The whole thing is incredibly abrupt. It seemed like he would despair, but is moved on straight away. Someone carved "Killer Cage" into his suit. The "We'd only just met yesterday" line is rough.

Then, it kind of just ends with Keiji promising he'll end the war, and that's basically it.

 

Yeah pretty average/meh. I rated 6/10 i think.

 

I mean it's barely higher than 2.5/5 For me 5/10 is like a 1, 6/10 is like 2 7/10 is like average 8/10 is good 9/10 is great and 10/10 is fantastic. I feel like no one realistically uses 0-4 so it's just all trash at that end.
