Happens with nearly all sequels Idk any sequel when main story finished that ended up good

If talking about manga

GTO is sequel to Shonen Junai Gumi

 

You could make a bigger list of failed sequels but that's more to do with a lot of them being cash grabs rather than there being some sequel curse

 

Yes you can but it's a longer anime
Has like 167+ 26 episodes with like 30-35 fillers.
But it adapts the entire manga(almost)

 

Well I use to watch it on Animax and it was quiet good
If you are into the weekly series of 2000s and early 2010's its a pretty great series

 

Yeah 10 years ago it might have been ideal anime to watch but now 150 to 200 episodes seems quite a lot

 

yeah Inuyasha is a vibe, the artstyle is a bliss IMO is bit long though

 

The only worthwhile thing about Yashahime was that it showed us just how ridiculously powerful Sesshomaru is. Too bad it went with the route of demons being introduced from some fukken comet though.

Original Inuyasha and Final Act? Yes. The Yashahime sequel which came out recently? Eh... Your choice, mate. It's . . . not really good.

Yeah. It's a chore these days.

Better than other long Fantasy series though. Fairy Tail... Oof...
