To be honest, you're really over-simplifying things. What you're saying holds water, but not enough to combat a house fire. Please reassess your views on coding. x_x

Just because the theme you used previously works right now - it doesn't mean it will continue to work after you edit it. Things -are- going to go wrong when you edit things. I've never edited a theme (for a re-color) That has been as simple as you claim. I've ALWAYS come across bugs and other issues, and have had to fix them. And they don't rely on fixes via css either. It can go from html or even as deep and editing the forum php itself to make things work how you intended it to.

Also - not once theme you will find will suit your every need. Yes the internet is a magical place, but that simply isn't possible. Again, I've never gone to use a pre-packaged theme without having to edit it to suit my needs. x_x

 

AKA, if shit's not working, I'll get someone else to do the job.

The only way me and @Shirou are taking it is that you're woefully misinformed about coding as a whole. Beyond changing ******* hex colors or whatever small edits you deem to be enough to 'make a theme' you seem to be blissfully ignorant.
