Pretty shallow reason considering Pigs and Cattle are more intelligent than dogs so they should be the ones who should be spared before dogs

I mean you will probably find some story of that. I do remember a pig name lulu saved her owner who was having heart attack by flagging a passing vehicle.

Dogs are generally used as companion becoz they are trained for it and is probably the most suitable animal becoz of their build which been adapter over many year becoz of living alongside human

 

And i am not saying eating meat is wrong or dog meat good and other meat bad I am just saying cultures are different and the point that dogs are cute so they should be spared is not great.

Most of the western nations use dog as pet and it as food will be taboo while in China, SE Asia them as food is norm.You may not like it but that's how it has been for years.

Meat in general should be phased out tho

I don't have the money to do veganism in a healthy way but I would if I could

 

Maybe not meat in general but the industry for sure
