I mean... I'm not opposed well-made 3D animation anime.

But there are good live action adaptations. Rurouni Kenshin and Bleach come to mind.

well LA adaptation are mostly movies.
Both movie and TV series based on manga are big in japan and catred for Japanese audiences taste. A great series might not get anime but gets LA an example being
