Bangalore's garbage disposal and sewage treatment practices had been getting lax for the past five years. The combination of the current COVID-19 outbreak and the current Cholera epidemic should make this city's lazy ass people wake the **** up.

Yeah... Bangaloreans are immensely lazy and apathetic people. You need nothing short of an apocalypse to make us give a damn.

Things were already getting better in China; what with reducing sales (up to two-thirds over the last two decades) of sharkfin soup and consumption of "traditional" Chinese medicine/bushmeat thanks to increased awareness (with the help of big-name Chinese actors and athletes), increased standard of living, and increased access to modern healthcare. Hopefully things will improve even faster now.

And hopefully people will come together instead of being the selfish xenophobes they currently are.

The point: Bleach is still making Shueisha tonnes of money; the manga actually sold quite well (though obviously nothing compared to its peak) and the mobile games continue to make money. All of this indicates resurgent popularity for the series, and that is despite no anime or huge-ass advertising campaigns for the franchise.

How does it affect you if Studio Pierrot makes an anime for a formulaic shounen manga series you refuse to even touch? The only thing it can do is put tonnes of animators and staff to work in a big project and make millions of fans happy. That's a good thing.

I can understand making such a "waste of resources" comment about something like a trash ecchi harem or loli series that should be relegated to history's dustbin. But a formulaic shounen series that does no harm? Eh... Why not?
