I just got heartbroken by daily randomness.

I was eating lunch when an older homeless guy came to me and said "hey, I'm not asking you for money, there's three of us here, we're homeless, could you buy us anything to eat?" I was going to buy them a soup, didn't even manage to collect my thoughts when the place's service came in and told them to leave... The guy looked at me with such insane listless resignation and said: "persona non grata"

Similar thing once happened to me with this little old homeless lady. But me and another old man sat her down and bought her lunch. The old man paid twice as much as I did. He was such a sweetheart and she had such a grateful look on her face.
