The stupid shit I've seen people make for heroes.

Radiance for Antimage? Make Monkey King Bar or Butterfly, you little shite.

Kelen's/Blink Dagger for Sniper? Make Lothar's Edge / Shadow Blade for attack and movement speed, you little turd muffin.

Whoever thinks it's a good idea to make Radiance for Lina or Demon Witch rather than Orchid Malevolence or Scythe of Vyse should never be allowed to play an intelligence hero.

Why are you making Mjollnir for Barathrum? Make a Satanic or Vladimir's Offering plus Sange Yasha!

Look, instead of making two Battle Furies for Faceless Void, how about you make the one and then make a Butterfly?

 

Speaking of Faceless Void, I have found that this is an excellent set of items for him:
1. Power Treads in strength
2. Mask of Madness (no explanation needed)
3. Monkey King Bar (attack speed and bypass evasion, plus that mini-bash which deals pure damage on every third strike)
4. Orchid Malevolence (attack speed, mana regeneration, Silence plus bonus damage on one selected hero)
5. Black King Bar (immunity to magic for a bit when cast)
6. Anything else which works well with the above set and further increases your survivability - Assault Cuirass, Butterfly, Linken's Sphere. Or you can make an Aghanim's Sceptre because you want a slightly more OP ulti.
