dbs finally returning tomorrow hopefully it's a good one!

 

ya ya ya hopefully vegeta kicks some ass before eventually losing to jiren. Hoping for good art too.

 

Catching up now, just finished the Kefla thing... Everyone in the comments is bitching they nerfed Goku to have Kefla keep up, but, imo Kefla is pathetic for a fusion. Vegito and Gotenks both became leagues stronger, whereas their power doubled at best.

 

well it looks like dbs will be taking some sort of hiatus or be officially over by the end of march that really sucks to hear hopefully it's just a hiatus though and animators can take that time to produce better episodes in the future.

well I'm guessing if movie in December does well there's a huge possibility the series is coming back if not it's hard to say but they sell a lot of merch for dragon ball so it'd be pretty stupid not to bring back the series. Plus international viewership atm is pretty high. I'm thinking if the series airs again it'll be as early as Jan 2019 after they're done with the movie and the animators can get back to working on dbs and hopefully, they'll have a long vision of where they want the series to go. Fleshed out story and animation etc.

 

They're not going to end it in march, DBS is to big of a cash cow. The current arc will most likely end in march and the series will probably go on a short hiatus then come back with a new arc.

 

yeah but i think pretty much after this arc ends we won't be seeing dbs for like 6 months or so cause a lot of the animators will be working on the movie so for the most part we won't be seeing dbs for most of 2018. It's kind sad to hear this bad news but at least the manga is sticking around. I wanna see what the manga does differently in ToP. Will be interesting to see.

 

I hope so but i just don't see it happening since the dbs team will be working on the movie but maybe they'll have the team working on it full-time for a while and then switch back to dbs. You never know.

 

I don't think they need to stop production of DBS for the movie though, they can have different teams working on both. Toei is a large enough animation studio to pull it off.
