Destiny 2

So, the game is out now. Picked up my copy yesterday, and I've been playing a decent amount in the afternoon. And it's good! Glad to see a good amount of minor improvements, and the needed major ones as well. The difference between D2 and D1 is immediately noticeable now that there's an actual presence of narrative and characterisation. I've only been playing for a cumulative total of about 6 hours, and a small bit into the story missions, but its been a good experience so far.

Anyone else playing it?

What kind of PC do you have?

My gtx750 and fx6300 runs it on low. Didnt try higher. This was the Beta though. I cant afford the actual game, so I havent tried it yet

Though I agree,Destiny 2 looks absolutely beautiful but I don't think I'll be playing it anytime soon :/

 

I want to pick it up, but im trying be more frugal with my money since i had a lot of things to pay for recently, for example new car brakes. Once im in more of a comfortable situation regarding my funds, ill definitely get this for PS4.

 

Hunters in D2 are garbage lmao, shadestep is now a 2 minute cooldown ability so its no longer viable at all in either PvE or PvP, and they may as well have kept Bladedancer, since it was a superior super in just about every aspect. It sucks, because I was a Hunter main in the first Destiny, and now the class itself is a joke. You know they fucked up Hunters when Warlocks have a better "shadestep". If they still have Nightstalker and the normal shadestep from Destiny, I'll consider going back.

That being said, I'm maining a Titan from now on. Hunters usually got the short end of the stick when it came to their gear's visual appeal vs the other 2 classes in Destiny, and it seems like that trend is gonna continue.

 

Yeah, I used Hunter in D1 and while it wasn't that bad, I wish I had tried the other classes before I had gotten too far in the game. Once I hit lvl10 I didn't want to redo the missions I did, so I just went with the Hunter. Unfortunately the game got stake after lvl20 and I didn't have the DLC, so there wasnt much to do

I did like the staff ability, which I can't remember the name of, in the Beta though. It was fun to play with

That's the problem, the DLC was essential for the experience. If you didn't have it, then, it was game over really.

 

You should be fine, I think. I can't guarantee that since I haven't uses many Intel chips.

Yeah. I hit a point where I really couldn't progress any further, because it was either a DLC quest, or I had to have a fireteam, which I didn't have. It doesn't help that all Exotic and Legendary were locked at level 40, which I think so might've needed the DLC to reach.
