What I watched when I was 8: Donatello gets sent to the future, where he learns his disappearance caused the turtles to break apart and all their allies to die off to the Shredder. He goes to get vengeance and stop Shredder with his brothers, though it means nothing as everyone but him dies in the process.

Now: Hey we kicked Shredders ass again! Woot woot!

Yeah they aren't what they used to be. Also the style of presentation for TMNT's have gotten worse over the years.

 

Those aren't real cartoons anymore.. Those are crappy dumb shows heavy influenced by trashy pop culture and political correctness.
